Your data and your rights
Version 1.0. Effective 17 September 2026.
Chikara Intelligence holds information about senior professionals, collected from what organisations publish about their leadership. If you are one of those people, this page is how you see what we hold, correct it, or tell us to stop.
Using this page is free. You do not need an account. You do not need to give a reason. We will not ask you for a passport or a driving licence.
What you can ask for
- Ask us to stop using your information
- You can object at any time. If you do, we stop unless we have a compelling reason to continue, and if we think we have one we will tell you what it is in writing. We will also tell any subscriber who has seen your information that you have objected, and require them to stop using it and delete their copies within 30 days.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold
- We will send you every record we hold about you. For each one we will tell you the source it came from, that source's own reference, the date it was published, the date we recorded it, and the basis on which we recorded it.
- Tell us something is wrong
- We will open the record and look at where it came from and what it said. If we got it wrong, we will correct it and fix the rule that caused it. If the source said it and the source is right, we will show you what the source was and record your comment against the record anyway.
- Ask us to delete your information
- We hold your information on the basis of legitimate interests rather than your consent, so a request to delete is handled in the same way as an objection. We will confirm that is what we have done.
- Ask us to pause
- You can ask us to stop using your information while we look into a correction or an objection.
- Make a complaint
- If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us.
If you are challenging an estimate
Some things in a profile are our estimate rather than something published about you, including an estimated wealth tier and an estimated investor status. These are our opinion, not facts about you, and they can be wrong.
If you are challenging one, say so and we will show you what it was based on. Where the basis does not support the estimate, we remove it.

How long we take
We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days.
We will answer a request about your rights within one month. If your request is complicated we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you within the first month if that happens.
We will give you the outcome of a complaint as quickly as we can, and within three months at the latest.
If you are not happy with our answer
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. You can do that at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
You do not have to come to us first, and complaining to us does not affect your right to complain to them.
