Three Interims, Three Same-Week Exits

Four appointments in the window were interim, and three of the four sat at an organisation that had recorded the matching departure inside the same seven days: an unplanned exit, with a search likely forming behind it.

Interim appointments as unbriefed mandates
An interim in a seat is a mandate worth watching closely. Three of this week's four interim appointments sat at an organisation that recorded the matching departure in the same seven days: a chief executive out and an interim in at a US-listed biotech, and two finance seats covered the same way. Will a permanent successor follow at any of the three in the coming weeks?
Fourteen pairs, and only some of them are opportunities
Fourteen of the 86 organisations recorded both a senior exit and a senior arrival inside the same week. Five of those are the reverse of an interim story: the same title out and the same title in, inside seven days, a succession arranged months ago and a seat that is now closed rather than opening.
That distinction is worth reading closely. Fourteen pairs look like fourteen opportunities until the planned successions are separated from the unplanned ones, which leaves three or four worth a call.
Chikara links the pair for you
A departure and an appointment at one organisation come through as separate records, days apart. Chikara holds them against the same organisation, so a monitored account shows the pair together rather than as two loose events, the join a researcher would otherwise make by hand, forty accounts at a time.
